SS Nomadic, the world’s last remaining White Star Line vessel and RMS Titanic’s original tender ship now restored to it’s former glory. Walk the decks, explore the ship, and take journey through over 100 years of authentic maritime and social history.
SS Nomadic is the last remaining White Star Line vessel and one of the biggest Titanic artefacts in the world. Famous as the tender ship which transported passengers out to Titanic in Cherbourg, and a quarter of her size in every dimension, guests can step on board and experience over 100 years of authentic maritime and social history. The ship is also available for exclusive hire and can cater for a range of private and corporate events, from drinks receptions to fine dining for up to 200 people.
Following a stint as a Parisian restaurant and nightclub, SS Nomadic was rescued from scrap and fully restored to her original glory. April 2015 saw a new chapter begin for the heritage attraction as ownership was officially transferred to Titanic Foundation Limited, the charity who protects and promotes the maritime and industrial heritage of Belfast. TBL International took over the operating contract, aligning our 5-star visitor attraction experience to Titanic’s little sister.
Having recognised that there would be significant benefits in joining up the operations of both Titanic Belfast and SS Nomadic, in addition to operating Nomadic Belfast as a standalone attraction, the experience was integrated into the Titanic Experience ticket at Titanic Belfast. Since TBL International took over operations of Nomadic Belfast in April 2015, there has been a marked increase in year-on-year visitor numbers and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
A rich, tangible and authentic piece of Belfast’s industrial and maritime heritage.
